Hi everyone,
Here's a quick update on the status of the new pin-registered pano head that
I'm producing. The first part of the order arrived Friday, which consisted
of the upright arm section. The camera plate section should be arriving any
day. So far, the precision and tolerances are far better than the current
one that is listed on my site (which was really somewhere between an alpha
and a beta version). If you are interested, the original can be found here -

Once the camera plates are in, I'll do some testing to verify that both the
machine shop and I got the measurements right, then I'll post some samples
and an update to the /rig page. Feel free to email me either on or off list
if you have any questions.
