This is a good idea, Fiero. If you want to make DevalVR fully detectable, take example from Macromedia Flash (and not from Macromedia Shockwave - they mixed up the version number in the ActiveX ProdID).

I've picked up again development of the browser capabilities detector that has been beta-tested back in August.

DevalVR detection is added and functional.

There are still three issues I'm trying to solve before releasing it:
- Java detection was unreliable. Yesterday night I had an inspiration and I found the way to detect Java. Now I need to write (my first) Java Applet and integrate it in the detection process.
- the detector currently relies on cookies. I can make it cookie independent so that it can run also when the client does not accept cookies.
- brocap has difficulties with the ProdID of PanoGLView. Possibly a bug in brocap itself.
