The D100 has a crop factor of 1.5 if I'm right. Hence both the 16mm
lenses gives you a very low FoV (should be about 90°x50°) and you
need very many images. Hence you get more pixels and the result would
be far better even if the lens is equal to the peleng. The Zenitar in
fact is a bit better.
The 10.5 Nikkor is the dedicated full frame fisheye for crop faktor
1.5. You get a full sphere with 6+1+1 shots and about 8200x4100
pixels nativ resolution from your camera. And it's a superb lens.
The CA of the sigma lens can be corrected very well with Adobe RAW
import, it's from the 'good' sort...
