Uh, sorry. After reading your post a second time (and more carefully *g*) I've got a question. We know that tonemaping is the most crucial part in HDR processes for our sort of photography. From your post I read that you didn't use Photomatix for tonemaping but the Photoreceptor Algorithm with binaries from "HDR-book". While I know the algorithm from my favourite tool Picturenaut I have no idea what you mean by "HDR-book". I even couln't find a hint in your HDR-Wiki. So if you don't mind to put my nose into the right direction ...
