Subject:Re: HDR-Workflow: Vienna Metro Praterstern revisit

Thread:

Hello Romuald,

Thanks for pointing out, that the current cap solution isn't the best
possible solution. I didn't want to invest too much time in patching the
nadir as i think, it does not add much information to the image. Though,
you made me think about designing a more "clever" and informational
nadir cap to hold relevant information in the panorama (a site map would
be a good idea).

I consider size information as being too technical. My experience is,
that most people don't care about size. If they like the content, even
modem users initially choose the "big version". I previously offered
smaller versions on my "dativ.at" page but it was rarely used. Instead i
discovered that even modem users - if they are interested in the content
- can live with the wait time...but they want to have the option to
"right-click, save" the panorama for later viewing and presenting it to
other people... :-)

Still, lot of "todo's" remain on my list: Add a flash version (which
would be smaller in size) and add sound. Also add more information to
the panoramas as soon as i have a good idea how to do this without
hopelessly cluttering up the pages... :-\

Best regards
Bernhard
