I had a problem somewhat similar to this, so the fix for my problem may well
work for you.  I emailed Erik who told me that this was a known bug when
using alpha channels probably due to having --wContrast in
enfuse_droplet.bat (possibly also in enfuse_align_droplet.bat) greater than
0.  I think the default is --wContrast=1, but am not sure as I have changed
mine.
Erik's address for reporting droplets bugs is in the file
droplets_readme.txt.
