| Subject: | What is a "pano" anyway? |
this was mistakenly posted to the WWP yahoo list-these question are better asked here Hello all, I am trying to explain what an equirectangle image is on my website for the general public. Before I confuse them, I thought it best to run my description by this group: http://www.photosurveyor.com/servicespanos.htm Does it work? I'm trying to avoid too technical of terms. The toughest one I'm dealing with is "immersive virtual reality image" - basically nomenclature for "pano". What should capitalized? Is the term copyrighted? Should I avoid this combination all together? Any thoughts on how to get the message across would be greatly appreciated.
