If all goes well, you will get an installer for the Playstation
and your PC, and PTStitcherNG will then be used from your
PC as if it ran there, i.e. as backend to one of the
authoring-environments, or as standalone application, etc.
The current testrelease is far from this luxury, and meant for,
well, testing, see the readme. I am describing how to repeat
Bernhard Vogls benchmark on the Playstation, and you can
perform your own speedtest, judge the quality of the
stitcher, and provide feedback. At this stage you need
(a) experience with PTStitcher and Panotools, and
(b) some linux experience.
