Yes, yes, yes!!!
PS3's have much more practical use than just to "play games". I make
no appologies to the gamers out there, I'm sure you will still enjoy
your games regardless ... but the PS range has been eyed off by
techies for "other purposes" (eg a "multi-media" platform) for quite
some time for good reason. Solid hardware, optimised for what it does
best (fast graphics handling and number crunching). I'd love one, and
most likely would never play any games on it ...
