Subject:Re: Pano2VR Flash hotspot proxies

Thread:

WOW! If the ratio between the huge amount of visitors and the number
of error reports is anything to go by, this test must be a sounding
success! Thank you all who had a look!

Maybe the sheer distance between the server in the Netherlands and
your location in Japan caused this lack of responsiveness. I made sure
every pano has it's own loading bar (necessary using this linking
method), and there should be a low-res ambercoloured preview during
loading. That should normally be enough to communicate what is
happening I'd say.

It is difficult to keep track of 'where you are' in such a building,
so, although I really prefer to keep my images clean and devoid of
'embellishments' as much as possible, some kind of navigational
assistance is unavoidable.
One of the next versions of Pano2VR will offer the possibility for a
button to toggle all hotspots on/off at once, which I think would be a
nice thing to have.

Thank you Roger!
I added that statement because too ofted I have been 'charmed' into
visiting a website, only to find a forest of Google ad crap with
barely any useful content hidden between it. That has made me (perhaps
a bit too) hesitant to click on exactly the kind of links I posted
myself : )

Kind regards,
