| Subject: | Re: Awful time stitching square suspended ceiling tiles :-( |
Thread:
I guess I would normally do things manually but this is my largest job yet so I was hoping things would be more on the automatic and accurate side when it came to the ptgui part of the project. The vertical/horizontal shift seriously cleared things up and then creating control points on just 2 images at a time fine tuned it. I never noticed this issue before as it's my first time with the ceiling tiles. Next time it won't be so much work ;-) > In a repetitive image, automatic control points can be > wrong, since similar (or identical) features > are repeated. > > I always use manual controls in such circumstances > (brick walls, brick weave paving, parquet floors etc) > > BugBear > ------------------------------------ -- <*> Wiki: http://wiki.panotools.org <*> User Guidelines: http://wiki.panotools.org/User_Guidelines <*> Nabble (Web) http://www.nabble.com/PanoToolsNG-f15658.html <*> NG Member Map http://www.panomaps.com/ng <*> Moderators/List Admins: #removed# Yahoo!
