Subject:can't get a clean zenith stitch with ATMOS head

Thread:

I love the ATMOS head that I use with my Nikon 700D and a 10.5mm shaved nikon fisheye. 6 shots around (can even get by with 4), and everything stitches together great, except, the Zenith, which I always have to clean up in photoshop afterwards because of all the breaks and distortions in the middle of the ceilings. It is easy if the zenith is of something simple, like a blue sky, but if it is of a more complex ceiling, then it can require a lot of work.

I am using PTGui, the lastest version, for Mac. I get a "good" grade on my control points. So what do I need to do?

I don't see anyway that it could be an adjustment to the head, Since there are no adjustments. It must be rotating about the nodal point. I don't see how I could move the lens forwards or backwards in the ring. It seems to me that it is already affixed at the only place it could be. There is just enough room for the ring.

I would appreciate it if someone had any ideas as to what I could do. Thank you.
