You are absolutely right, and I *almost* sent a message here this morning
suggesting -List as a better alternative for this discussion.
Only two things stopped me:
1. Virtually every time we've directed discussions to -List they died before
they got there (perhaps not a bad thing ...)
2. I get the impression it's just about a dead thread anyway, and was going
to give it one more day to expire on it's own.
So for anyone who wants to really discuss in earnest alternative list or
forum issues, please continue on -List. Otherwise please let this thread die
(ie let's not have any more posts complaining about the thread, or the
topics of the thread, or whether the thread should be here or not ... ok? )
