My Sigma 8mm arrived and I just now finished my first "presentable"
panorama, in two sizes - small 500k and large 1.2MB. These can be viewed by
clicking on www.petersale.com/temp_stuff/LR_USM3_SH3_3000W.mov and
www.petersale.com/LR_USM3_SH3_5000W.mov , respectively.

Nikon D70/Sigma 8mm/SB-800 speedlight/F8 - 4 Raw shots (no nadir or
zenith)/Ptgui/Panocube Plus 5.1/Photoshop CS (PSCS) to process the raw
images

I attempted to correct for Chromatic Aberration R/C and B/Y and Vignetting
while importing my D70 raw images into Photoshop CS. I then saved these
four slightly corrected images as tif files. Next I processed these four
tif files in PTGui and output a full size equirectangular tiff file. Then,
again via PSCS, I adjusted Shadow/Highlights, resized this Equirectangular
file as desired, applied a bit of sharpening and saved different versions
and sizes of equirectangular tif files for eventual conversion to Cubic MOV
files via PanoCube Plus v5.1. For some reason, I found that I often had to
drag the same equirectangular file onto PanoCube Plus v5.1 more than once in
order to create a cubic file. It seemed that PanoCube kept quitting prior
to completely creating the desired cubic.

Yes, I know I'm not supposed to use a flash but I wanted to capture the
extended dynamic range of both the "dark" interior of my living room and the
"bright" exterior view through the windows without attempting to merge
multiple exposures. Put differently, I did not want to deal with more than
four images.

Please do critique and advise how I might do better in creating these
QuickTime panoramas. I would like my next cubics to be better than this
"first" one.
