It was more than ?heavy-duty?, it was out right heavy! I remember picking one up one time and it was like a boat anchor. I think it may have belonged to Jook Leung and he was using it with a Nikon 8mm f:2.8 (maybe IPIX made one for that lens as well.) When you sell something for that much money, maybe you feel like it should have a lot of heft?
Thank goodness for smaller fisheyes, cameras and lightweight rotators. The TomShot rotator for the micro-4/3 Rokinon 7.5mm lens is only 110g!
