The new Nikon Coolpix looks very interesting for VR applications.

It's the new 8MP camera but it comes standard with a 24mm wide angle
capability (24mm-85mm) and with the optional WC-E75 you get a 18mm
equivalent. It also supports the FC-E9 5mm Fisheye lens too. It has a
white balance + exposure lock panorama assist feature as well.
