PanoTools: PTLens parameter interpolation Gerard Winkelmuller 2005-Mar-31 15:48:21

If I now the PTLens parameter a,b,c,d for a given lens and for a full
frame sensor, it is possible to compute the parametre A,B,C,D for an
APS-C sensor.
I found following relation between A,B,C,D and a,b,c,d:

if s is the sensor factor (example s=1.6 for canon D20)

A = a/(f s^2)   B = b/(f s)   C = c/f  D = s d / f

with f = a/s^2 + b/s  + c  + s d

are these relations true and are the full frame parameters enough
accurate to do this transformation.

thanks
