PanoTools: Pano tools haythamsuliman 2005-Sep-21 03:14:29
Hi all,

I am pretty newbie to the panotools and I tried to use couple different
softwares for rectifying the distortion on the straight lines caused by
my sigma fisheye. My question is is it possible to use the pano tools
to rectify the distorted straight lines BUT WITH PRESERVING ALL DETAILS
ORIGINALLY IN THE DISTORTED PICTURE. When I tried like i siad other
softwares it does the rectifying but with cropping so it negates the
use of the fisheye in the first place.

Recently tried with Pano but still facing problems to get it to work.
First thing after downloading I copied the pano12.dll to WINNT\system32
and invoked the ptpicker and opened my image but got a warning saying
NO IMAGE OVERLAP!! ignored it and opened the image then selected the
control points, then from the EDIT menu selected ALIGN but nothing
happens!! Any help there

thx
