proj-imim: Lock-up with Photoshop 5.5 on Windows 2000 SP1 Raymond Burket 2001-Mar-11 18:18:57
Hello All,

I humbly request any assistance at all. I am new to PanoTools and have tried
both Helmut's and Sascha's excellent tutorials. I've also tried two Windows
2000 machines. I go through the tutorial and get to the point where I hit
"OK" in the Adjust Filter dialog box. At this point I get an empty window or
box with the title "Image Conversion." No progress bar or anything (but
then, I don''t know what to expect). My CPU utilization is at 99 percent.
There is little or no disk activity. I had thought I might be impatient so I
let is go overnight to no avail. I've got the Pano12.dll in both my
Photoshop directory and my system32 directory. I tried to self-register
them, but they don't support that. I happen to be a developer myself and
checked dependencies but everything looks fine on the surface.

I know this must work. I checked through all the archives and found no other
people with this issue. I figure it's probably pilot error and lack of
sleep, but any help would be greatly appreciated as I've exhausted all the
possibilities I could come up with.

Has anyone else on the list used this type of environment with success? Any
information is greatly appreciated.

Thanks much to any and all who read or respond.

Sincerely,

-Raymond Burket
