Assuming that you can template the sequence of images, i.e. they
have exactly the same roll/pitch/yaw relationship each time, you can
use an existing project file as a template with nona:

    nona -o out -m TIFF_m template.pto DSC_1234.JPG DSC_1235.JPG DSC_1236.JPG

Note that you can override the output format with the '-m' parameter
and you can override the input photo filenames by supplying them on
the command-line.

This will create three remapped TIFF files called out0000.tif,
out0001.tif etc... You can use enblend to merge them into a
finished panorama:

    enblend -o finished.tif out0000.tif out0001.tif out0002.tif

All these tools place a seam between points where the edges of the
images cross. With straight-edged images these lines are inevitably
diagonal (this needs a diagram, try drawing two overlapping
rectangles and draw lines between where the edges cross, note that
there are always an even number of crossing points).

Use enblend and the seams won't be visible anyway.
