Subject: | Bracketing, aperture vs. raw extractions |
I have read that people simply shoot raw, and extract different "exposures" for exposure blending. Am I incorrect in thinking that physically bracketing with the camera gives a truer set of exposures? In other words, if my aperture is set too wide and my image is blown out, extracting from raws can't possibly retrieve images that aren't washed out? Or am I missing something? Does the AEB function not change the physical aperture size?
