And here two quick blending tests with Photomatix :

Fully automated and took only a few seconds in batch mode.
Another test with Photomatix Basic (the freeware version) using only
the 2 extreme images _DSC4013.JPG and _DSC4015.JPG :

With exposures spanning a higher dynamic range (for instance -6 up
to +2), you could have used the powerful tone mapping tool of
Photomatix Pro (on the de-fished images). You can see examples of
what you could get with this tool from
