PanoTools:
Reminder: Looking for VR Coverage of Pope
quantumvr2003 2005-Apr-04 02:44:50
Below is my initial message from last week seeking VR images related to the Pope.
Today I was out in Boston and made some images at a memorial to the Pontiff.
Perhaps you can find a local connection to the most historic event.
---------
I would like to make a worldwide call for VR images related to the Pope and his expected
death. Imagery can include: (1) Vatican, (2) local churches worldwide, (3) memorial
ceremonies, (4) prayer meetings, (5) sites where the Pope visited in the past, (6) Polish
sites, etc.
The International VR Photography Association (IVRPA) will coordinate the coverage of the
story in conjunction with Panoramas.dk and VRMag.
Our goal is to provide a unique worldwide view of events related to the Pope's passing. No
ideological or political agenda is intended, and we will attempt to adhere to reasonable
journalistic standards. All images submitted by photographers will be credited to them
with a link, and will remain the property/copyright of the photographer.
Our web pages will include links to charities worldwide that viewers can make
contributions to, in memory of the Pontiff.
Please share your ideas and thoughts on how the VR community can help cover this
historic event.
I have started a thread on the IVRPA forum to continue this discussion.
