Canon 5D as the solid base of the system

I am nikon man for long time. Happy with Nikkor 10,5 and satisfyed in
general with D70. Like to shoot panos with 'action' and low light
panos - and here, as you all know, this setup has some limitations.
In some recent posts here we could see great panos shot by 5D +
trimmed Nikkor 10,5. Combined with frustratingly high price of Nikkor
8mm (and it's huge size) it made me to think seriously about getting
5D body... It will give me the chance to shoot as fast my present body
+ Nikkor 8mm for extra $2000, but it is FF body! With descent diagonal
fisheye it will be the killer!
