Autobracketing with Canon 5D/trimmed 10.5mm Nikkor

The Canon 5D has rather restricted autobracketing capabilities but
still useful enough for panoramas -- it can do bracketed 3-shot
bursts only -- at up to +/- 2 stops and one can change the order --
dark first, last etc.
The internal buffer means that one can easily shoot 5 or 6 shot (*3)
autobracketed sequences quickly -- at 3 frames per second and with the
aid of the autoalignment features in Photomatix these are useable for
some exposure composite handheld/pole/monopod work
This pano was shot with the trimmed 10.5mm Nikkor on the 5d with 4
shots (*3). Because of all the street action I just used Photomatix
to create a blend where the skyscrapers met the sky. The rest of it
was blended by hand -- with the longest exposure just used to add
some detail under the shop awnings. A lot of the motion issues were
handled very nicely I thought by Smartblend
This is at about f5.6 at 200ASA
btw -- aperture priority works fine with stop down type lenses with
the 5d
