IMHO it is reasonable to use another group to discuss management.
But those not in the (new) group might be blindsided when changes occur.

Subject: [PanoTools] Members re-instated

Hi Everyone,

Kevin has re-instated those who were banned recently. Thank you Kevin for
your graciousness in helping defuse the current crisis. I would like to
remind everyone that civilized discourse is the only way to accomplish
anything of value. As a moderator, I will warn people who descend into name
calling that they are subject to being banned for a period of time. Also,
please don't post inflammatory polls that contain name calling or are so
obviously slanted that they serve no purpose. I'll warn you to either modify
the text or have it removed. We don't have a clear list of proper behavior,
something that may be forthcoming if there is a group who wants to work
together on that off-list. In the meantime, I will do my best to be fair,
but firm.

As far as the future direction of this group, including the list, wiki, and
panotools.info, being new to this position, I'm not sure how to best
proceed. I know there is another list that is discussing options (I am a
moderator of that list as well). Should we use that list for these types of
discussions so that the primary purpose of this list - panotools - isn't
eclipsed? I'm inclined toward that. As a moderator on both lists, I hope to
be able to help keep all related discussions civil.

Thanks, and play nice y'all. :o)

Mark
