PanoTools:
Panorama from a small Sailing Boat
Bernhard Vogl 2006-Jun-27 01:32:28
Some days ago, the question arose, how to capture a panorama from a
small boat. I took the chance on the weekend and did one from an old
wooden "Corsar" sailing boat.
It was captured with 4+1 shots with a Sigma 8mm Fisheye and then
stitched in 2 turns - one for the boat, the other for the horizon. This
is because when you turn around, you move the balace point of the whole
boat. Though, some stitching errors remain which i was too lazy to
remove ;-)
