Subject: | Shooting a 360 spherical pano with a rectangular lens |
I have a Sigma 10-20 mm (non fisheye lens) attached to a Panosaurus/Minolta 5D (6.1 pix). 110º panos come out great! It is a great lens. I now want the ability to shoot 180x360º panos after seeing the work posted here. Is there a way to use this lens to shoot 180ºx 360º's panos? I assume I have to shoot twice as many photos (plus the nadir/zenith) and stitch them together. Or should I buy a fisheye lens, or a fisheye adaptor for one of my other lenses? Thanks, Richard ------------------------------------ -- <*> Wiki: http://wiki.panotools.org <*> User Guidelines: http://wiki.panotools.org/User_Guidelines <*> Nabble (Web) http://www.nabble.com/PanoToolsNG-f15658.html <*> NG Member Map http://www.panomaps.com/ng <*> Moderators/List Admins: #removed# Yahoo!
