Template for the 360precision and camera lens comination EOS 350D and Sigma 8mm

Hello to all group members,
I am trying to set up a template for the 360precision and camera lens comination EOS
350D and Sigma 8mm.
I have tried to set it up with the "calibration_guide" file, which is offered on the website
www.360precision.com.
It works for the pano that I have made in my bathroom (using the black tape method) to
find enough control points.
Example (without any further retouching in Photoshop):

If I try to use this template for different panos I have shoot afterwards, I always get some
points in the pano which do not fit exactly.

I am using PTMac to stitch the panos.
Is there anyone of you out there, who has managed to set up a template for my camera-
lens-tripodhead combination?
Hans Nyberg has mentioned on his website that it is not possible to stitch with a
template... Have you made the same experiences?
