Does the manfrotto 190 Pro tripod cut the mustard?

I am currently using a Manfrotto 055 tripod which I intend to change for
something with a leveling centre column. I know the 755b is very popular
but wondered if anyone was getting away with a Manfrotto 190pro. This
would be a much lighter alternative and easier to travel with.
I would also be using this with a leveling centre column 556B and either
a Precision 360 or custom head based on the Manfrotto 330n rotator.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
