Last night I was at the Sky High Restaraunt on Mt Dandenong (Melbourne Australia) to observe Comet McNaught for the second night in a row. The previous night, the comet had put on a spectacular show (http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/47162053/) and there had been significant media coverage, generating great public interest. I took my family (Wife, father and mother) up with me to share this once-in-a-lifetime experience, and it seems many others had the same idea. Even though the comet was unfortunately significantly fainter than the previous night, the crowds were at least 3-4 times larger, and everyone was nonetheless treated to a spectacular view of this incredible comet. I couldn't pass up the oportunity to take a panorama of the scene.
