PanoTools NG: TEMP dir path notation in Flash erik_leeman 2010-Apr-12 22:31:46
Hi all,

Is there anyone reading this list who can tell me how to spell a Pano2VR hotspot path/URL to:

%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp\xxxxx.swf

I want to link Flash panos that are temporarily stored in the Windows\Temp directory, but that path is different for every user.

The idea is to use ZINC to build an .exe containing a Flash preloader AND a load of panos, and store it on a CD or DVD.
On starting that .exe from CD it will first extract the panos to that Temp directory, and then show the first pano (with hotspots to the other panos stored in the Temp dir).
I've got much of it working now, but only with the full path on my own machine, not the %USERPROFILE% path.

I've tried all kinds of things:
%USERPROFILE%/Local Settings/Temp/xxxxx.swf

%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp\xxxxx.swf

%25USERPROFILE%25%5CLocal+Settings%5CTemp%5Cxxxxx.swf
with and without " ", you name it, nothing works.

Is there anyone able and willing to explain to me how to do this?

Thanks in advance!
