Thank you Mathieu, cube format turned out to be the solution for me.
I have updated http://bernie.x-net.at/spi-v/temp.html to do justice to
Aldos engine.
BTW: Is the some script/tool available to put the 6 cubefaces to the "6
in a row"-format"? (Shame on me: I have problems aligning the faces with PS)
Regarding equirectangular input: Let me point out that i am not aware of
a way to increase the triangle count for the viewer. But maybe this is
bound to the more professional versions of SPi-V?
I have also discovered why local preview was not working (Yes, RTFM).
The "dswmedia"-folder is mandatory for the HTML-Plugin when viewing
locally.
