proj-imim: PT generating single layer .psd files Skip Williams 2000-Jul-10 21:47:32
I'm having problems generating panoramas on my desktop machine. I've used
both scripted and PT-Gui methods to implement the panorama, but it isn't
working. I am getting one-layer Photoshop .PSD result files. They seem
to be the right size; as they grow with each image that gets merged, but no
layers are created.

If I specify a .JPG image, PTStitcher creates the flat .JPG file OK. But
of course you can't edit/massage the layers in one .JPG. I use PhotoPaint,
but I haven't had any problems generating files on another machine.

I'm using the images, scripts, and procedure at
http://philohome.free.fr/panotutorial/panoramatutorial1.html as my
learning tool.

This procedure works fine on a Win2000 laptop that I have, so I'm betting
that there is either some parameter wrong or some other program/DLL is
interfering with the operation of the PTTools programs.

Caveat - I do use Corel PhotoPaint v8 or v9, but I don't seem to have any
problem importing Photoshop files otherwise.

Can anyone help recommend a way to reset all my environments to help? I
tried to find/delete all the pano12.dll and pano12.prf files on my
machine. Just in case one of them was corrupt.
