I came across something very very interesting as well. www.neustep.com
They are calling it NeuStep virtual walk-through technology. it looks like they have done a remarkable job. Its corrected unlike the one at www.worldinmotionvr.com. Its very fast, and I truely think that this is the future of VR on the web. Its very neat, and after all of the new technologies i have seen on the web this company seems to be the most promising.
They have an awesome little web interface, and from what I was reading they are developing a WAP version for cellular hand sets. That just seems amazing to me!
