PanoTools NG: newbie ..question.. Si 2006-Jul-18 04:34:44
Newbie question.. sorry couldn't find the site archive..

I'm hoping you'll be gentle and guide me at the right directions..

I've been using the 20d for a while, getting some good shots.

And came across the user group after a posting about PTGui (Which I've
bought, and have found great so far.).

I'm taking my photography fairly seriously and wanting to start making the
move to being paid more often..

So questions:

1) spherical panaromas? - what software do I need to make these? Where
even the photographer isn't there?

2) the quicktime panaromas that you can scroll around.. - if I'm
shooting in raw or jpeg.. how do I make this?

3) Nodal points? I get the idea.. but what should I do in practice..

4) What is the best . panaromic head. ( I currently have a manfrotto
tripod)

Any help, suggestions, guidance..

Thanks

Si
