Seconded. It's really easy to do a calibration shot (preferably with more overlap than a "normal" shot), because you can
choose your moment, and your target. "Art" and composition can be ignored in favour of
lots of detail to give good CPs.

Every subsequent pano can be taken quicker and easier, since you *know* you've got a calibrated lens.
