Enblend. How long does it take?

I have 40 - 5 megapixel images..
Outputted as multi-image tif
not with masks..
So far its been running for about 7-8 hours..
offset 0000000 etc ad infinitum
Is multi-image tif /not with masks ok?
And whats a rough estimate for how long
40 images might take?
I'm wondering if I should kill it and just
process the sky pieces and stitch the rest by hand.
