with or without Fisheye?

Dear All,
I have heard that once we use Fisheye lens the quality will be less
compared to normal case. I would like to know that before buying my new
fisheye lens for Nikon Coolpix 5400.
I wanted to buy fisheye simply because it will take only few shots. What
are the other options I have?
