Don't do what I recently did! I bought a Manfrotto 190 which has a six
sided centre column (hexaganal). I also bought a 676b digi mono pod
which is the same shape thinking I would be able to use this as an
extention....unfortunately it isn't the right size!!!!
The old manfrotto tripods had a round centre column, but the new ones
are hexaganal..... so the monopod idea doesnt work!%%*!!
If anyone knows a way around this I would love to know!
