Hi, Toni, it fouls the projecting peak at top front, which contains
the pentaprism. There just isn't enough space for the ring to fit
in there. I was very disappointed. I've made the best of it by
relegating the S5 to indoor shots where I use a tripod and the
Nodal Ninja panorama head with my Nikon 10.5mm fisheye. So I keep
the Sigma for the D300. I get about the same number of pixels i
both cases, typically 8,000 x 4,000 in the final panoramas.

It couldn't be that I have attached the ring at the wrong position
on the lens barrel, could it? I get results as if the lens is
perfectly positioned at the non-parallax point.
