No,No. - I'm not speaking about the ring itself (or the red inner-ring)
but about the the plate which connects the ring's socket and the 3/8" adapter (three38).
I have the so called Tripod-Kit (ring+footplate+three38).
This footplate slightly differs in length between vers. for f4 and f3.5.
I got one of the very first 8/3.5 rings (which by mistake still had the footplate for f4).
Sure, that all rings do have the appropriate plate now.
So, it's just a point to check.
