The funny thing is that it depends on the user's Java virtual machine.

My panos didn't stop rotating when the mouse got out of the applet window
while I was using Windows Me's built in Java machine. You could drag the
mouse far away from the window to make it rotate really fast.

After I installed Sun's Java this stoping started to happen.
