PanoTools NG:
Not enough memory (RAM) after reassembling with Pano2QTvr
Rodrigo Alarcon-Cielock 2007-Jan-23 22:42:46
Dear All,
I have created a panorama using PTGUI, it size is 9990 x 4995 and it
is 380mb in size; CS2 has no problem opening this panorama.
I created another panorama using PTGUI this time it size is 7674 x
3837 and 224mb in size, I opened the stitched panorama in CS2
without no problemns or error.
The Zenith and Nadir needed touching so I used Pano2Qtvr to convert
from an equirectangle image to a cube, to be able to touch up the
Zenith and the Nadir; once the patching was done the resulting pano
was 7664 x 3832 and 225mb in size. Now I can't open it with CS2, I
get the following message, "CS2 could not open the image because
there is not enough memory (RAM)".
It is not the first pano I have had this error message, I only get
this error message after using Pano2QTvr to convert back the 6 faces
from cube to an equirectangle image.
Any ideas as to what am I doing wrong when using Pano2QTvr?
kind regards,
Rodrigo
