Were we not evicted from our last home? If I remember correctly everybody
was pretty happy with how smooth the transition went to Yahoo Groups. (I got
a bunch of e-mail while setting up Yahoo Groups asking why I'm creating a
duplicate list.) I have keep the spammers at bay which isn't a easy task
when your never sure what the true intentions are of the new member. I have
been consistent, open and honest with everyone (like it or not) and tried to
use whatever visionary skills I was born with to anticipate the changing
landscape of this group. With 3-5 members joining the group per day, the
problems associated with Yahoo Groups and maintaining status quo have become
increasingly more difficult.

I have tried to get the members of this group to ban together on projects
but the enthusiasm usually dies off in a day or two. Try to put yourself in
my shoes and pretend this is a company that is trying to gain market share
and every decision must be voted on or discussed. Add the fact the members
are scattered all over the world and visit the group at will. I have decided
to forge onward and the worse case is we may loose a few members but the end
result will be a stronger PanoTools.

I count on donations to keep this project going which allows me to spend
more time on PanoTools site development. Everyone is welcome weather your
just a lurker or an avid member. It's the members of PanoTools and the
content they provide that attracts new members to the group not my
development efforts.

John
