For partial (non-VR) panos, I prefer regular HTML, and letting the viewers
use their browsers' scrollbars. I couldn't view your scrollable pano because
it uses something that I've got turned off in IE, and I'm not willing to
figure out what it is and turn it on just to see one pano.

It also seems to me that the purpose of a pano is to show tons of detail,
and so I don't bother catering to people with bandwidth limits. However, I
post my images to PBase, which automatically prepares a smaller version, so
people whose connections are slow can still see the overall image, for what
it's worth.

For typical horizontal landscape panos, I usually choose the vertical size
to be about 800 pixels, and let the horizontal size be whatever it comes out
to. 800 pixels fits onto any modern screen (1280x1024 or larger), so people
only need to scroll in one dimension. I don't care about people with smaller
screens--that's their problem.
