Sorry John, 360P is short for 360precision
www.360precision.com
I'm planning to use the Nikon 18-70mm (27-105mm equivalent FOV) for
general stuff and still panos less than 180 degrees. Good cheap
lens. I don't have it yet either, so I can't give you examples of
it in use. (yet)
Hans, good point on the -10 degrees for the horizontal shots. I
imagine the 360P guys could do this on the vertical arm if anyone
wanted it, as the vertical positions are just slots machined into
the arm for the plunger to sink into. For me I'm happy to keep the
horizontal shots a 0 degrees and take an extra shot. Since it all
batches in the end, it doesn't make much difference. Perhaps one of
the 360P boys could clarify this?
Thanks,
Aaron.
