Dear Listmembers,
There is an important poll over the future of this
list going on. It is important that you give your
opinion!

There are two options:
Change or No-Change.
If you vote for change (the bathroom option, as
opponents call it), a transitional team will take over
the list and submit to your judgement a new charter
for the list which you will be invited to vote upon.
If you vote for no change (the dictators option, as
opponents call it), those who have started and
supported the insurgency will withdraw and accept the
status quo.
It is important that you vote either way because it is
important for the community that its leadership,
elected or other, has a strong mandate to represent
your interest and insure the long term viability and
survival of the list.

Some back-ground information:
Dissatisfaction with the current owner has been a
returning issue on the list. In the last weeks there
again have been discussions about the way the list and
associated projects are managed.
A group of concerned people wants to democratise
ownership and policies, and give back the group (and
associated projects) to who it belongs, you.
