PanoTools: Re: Change or No-Change. anodyssey 2006-Jun-07 16:00:28
Oh the irony of the Bert-Yuval new list. When I tried posting the following reply to thier
message, it seems dissent is not allowed on thier list. My post went to Bert and never gets
relayed. Here is what I said:

================
This is exactly the type of behaviour why I put Bert on a 30 day no post suspension on the
Panotools list. Not because of the activity but because of the fact twisting inflamatory
posts. For example, take a look at the post below. At what point did any of the change
opponents term the choices 'the bathroom option' and the 'dictators option'. These are
inflamatory terms apparently of Bert's choosing.

Here are the original questions posted by Yuval as those who voted early on recognize:

a democracy with a team of admins elected by the community for a time-limited,
renewable mandate?

a dictatorship where Kevin, John or another dictator can ban people and topics as he
pleases without consulting the listmembers?

Heck yes. Who wouldn't want a democracy versus a dictatorship but are Bert and Yuval the
sort of management you want running a public list?

Kevin
