I don't know how well the Peleng works with Nikons, but mine works
FLAWLESSLY and EASILY with my Canon 300D.
caveats:
everything is manual - speed/aperture/focus
flare IS a problem - clone most of them out during PP
For web based work it's plenty sharp, long as you don't zoom into the pano
too far.
